Speaker Profile:
Melissa Williams draws on a decade of in-house experience with a mutual insurance and financial services company to advise clients on labor and employment matters. At Husch Blackwell, Melissa provides preventative counsel to help employers mitigate legal risk or better yet, avoid it altogether. Her own background in a general counsel's office means that she readily understands the challenges business executives face and how to best meet their needs. While Melissa's goal is to help clients stay out of court, her substantial litigation experience before state, federal and administrative agencies across the country has prepared her to vigorously defend them when litigation is necessary.
