8:30 am to 11:00 am - Breakfast
Mound City Bank Motor Branch, Platteville
Dr. Caryn Stanley and Mr. Corey Taubr return with fresh insights, sharper strategies -and yes, the Wheel-o-Slang makes an appearance! This time, the focus goes beyond decoding Gen Alpha; it's about reshaping workplace culture to truly support generational diversity. You'll dive into what makes Gen Alpha tick, what's disrupting long-held norms across generations, and how to bridge the gap without turning every cross-generational exchange into an NPC moment (non-playable character: someone who seems disengaged or stuck in outdated habits). Expect research-backed insights, interactive discussion, and practical tools to build a workplace that's inclusive, future-ready, and dare we say rizz-worthy.
Dr. Caryn Stanley is a certified Professional in Human Resources and has been an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for 16 years. She is an Associate Professor of Management and is the Assistant Director of the School of Business. She teaches courses in organizational change, human resource management, team dynamics, strategic thinking, and quality management both on campus and online. Stanley regularly speaks and publishes on topics including generational differences, organizational change, and stakeholder engagement and provides a variety of other consulting and training services. Her research focuses on the interactions among the variables of generational membership, planned organizational change, and employee loyalty.

Mr. Corey Taubr is a sophomore UW-Platteville Accounting student originally from the south side of Chicago. Corey represents UW-Platteville as a member of the football team (Go Pioneers!). He was awarded the New Freshman Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities Scholarship. This scholarship partnered him with faculty (Dr. Caryn Stanley) to begin his undergraduate research endeavors. Corey is deeply committed to personal growth and strives to become the best version of himself. In his free time, he values spending quality time with loved ones, particularly his two dogs.
